South East Open Studio

The Vine Cricket Ground, Sevenoaks, one of the oldest in the country.

As part of South East Open Studios, my gallery will be open from 2-5 pm on 15 and 16 June.  http://www.seos-art.org

The exhibition will focus on paintings produced for my book “Buildings of New York” and also feature some new images of Sevenoaks.

The top image is of The Vine: the first recorded game of cricket took place here in 1734.

The southern portion of the High Street has the oldest buildings, enhanced by the enticing curve of the street.

The West Front of Knole House

4 Vine Court Road, once home to Sevenoaks Prep School

Famous because Jane Austen stayed here with her great uncle – and considered the finest house on the High Street in Sevenoaks

New York paintings feature in Grierson Gallery, Sevenoaks

A new exhibition opens tomorrow (Saturday 10 February 18) at the Grierson Gallery on Sevenoaks High Street.  A third of the display will be devoted to a selection of my paintings of New York.  All artwork is for sale, and copies of “Buildings of New York” will be available at a special exhibition discount.

This painting in acrylic, ink and collage of the Guggenheim Museum is one of twelve paintings being exhibited and available to purchase.

“Buildings of London” exhibition, June 2016

The last chance to view the original paintings produced for Roger’s new book on the “Buildings of London” is next weekend, 18 and 19 June.

His studio is open 11.00am – 5.00 pm on Saturday and Sunday 18/19 June.  Some of the paintings have sold…but many are still available to buy, prices £100 – £500.

A free copy of the book (RRP £12.95) with every painting sold.

Following the exhibition paintings will be dispersed into private art collections so this is the last chance to see all the paintings together.

Over 50 original paintings on display and most for sale, £100 – £500.
